(Steve Eulberg)
June 25, 2002
Steve Eulberg Psalm 28
Using the Scottish tune LOCH LOMOND, this was written for worship at Fountain of Hope Lutheran Fellowship in Kansas City, Missouri. (1996)
Blest be the Lord, who has heard my pleading:
God is my strength and protector
O God, Save your people
And bless your heritage
Shepherd us, Carry us forever.

1. To you, O Lord, I am always calling Do not refuse to hear me
For if you are silent I'll be as in Sheol, When I cry for help, hear my pleading.

2. Do not drag me away with the wicked, those who are workers of evil,
who speak peace to neighbors with mischief in their hearts who show no regard for your labor.

3. Pay evildoers according to their actions: Wages that they have been earning.
Their blind eyes see You not, they curse your handiwork, Break them down and rebuild them NO! never no more!
