"Internet Music Lessons & the Traveling Musician" Published in DMA Newsletter

The Denver Music Association (AFM #20-623) published my article about my experience teaching music lessons on the internet in the Spring Edition of their newsletter. DMASpring2010_thumb.pdf "Like many musicians, I have found teaching to the be butter for the bread of performance. Truthfully, the balance between performing and teaching helps me survive as a working musician.

At the 2010 Folk Alliance in Memphis, I played a set in the Concerts in Your Home (CIYH) showcase room. (CIYHis a terrific website whose motto is: "Living Rooms Were Made for Music") The host, Fran Snyder, included part of my set in his video encouraging people to share music with their friends in their homes.

Website Remodel for Owl Mountain Music


I host (2) websites for my musical work. is my artist website, the focus of which is my recordings and performance work. is my musical production website, through which I teach, publish and produce music.  The Owl Mountain Mercantile (my shopping cart) is undergoing a significant remodel, for which Ryan Brewer, at, created great new masthead which I'm using to remodel the whole Owl Mountain Music site....


April Tour Details Finalizing


Putting together a tour can be compared to various puzzles (Sudoku is the one that my spouse and I do daily).  A great many pieces need to come together to be successful, and when some upon which one is depending shift or cancel or do not confirm, it is easy to become anxious and worried.  

This is an exercise in faith and trust.....
